A Camping We will go

The weather has been so great this past few days that we decided to take the kids camping. This is the first time that we really camped and stayed the night in the tent and roughed it as you could call it. Mattison and Maddox really enjoyed staying outside and roasting marsh mellows. If you haven't ever visited daisy state park its really nice place to go, they have a program ever 2 hours are so for you to go and do. We took part in the scavenger hunt and did boys against girls, so it was me and mattison against Daddy, Maddox and Maddon. I knew i had some what of an advantage because maddox is slow as Christmas when he has to walk anywhere, and of course me and mattison won! She was thrilled that we were the winners. The also had a program about snakes of Arkansas and it was really informational for the kids to learn what snakes are bad and which ones aren't and some really neat facts about snakes that i didn't even know. But all and all we had a really great time and cant wait to go camping again. I think it really was nice to actually spend time with each other without any distractions like t.v.s, phones or computers. So here are a few pics from the weekend hope you enjoy. They have a really nice park to play at and of course the kids loved that and so did daddy he got to play as well. Maddox and Mattison didnt stop long enough for me to take many pictures of them. The kids all got part of the watermelon and maddon went to town on it, he loved watermelon. Mattison and Maddox just thought it was wonderful we let them do whatever they wanted to do and they didnt have to take naps. which is the best deal for mattison she hates naps. Maddon loved sliding and me and brandon took turns taking him downt he slide. Well the point of the picture is the one below where brandon slides completely off the slide. He didnt think it would go that fast. I could not stop laughing it was really funny.
