Kindergarten Thanksgiving Feast

Now i know Thanksgiving was along time ago, but I never have time to get the blog and since the kids were in bed early tonight i thought i might blog a bit. So back to the Thanksgiving Feast, the kindergarten at Nashville Primary did a play for all the parents. They all had a theme that was a dish for thanksgiving and Mattisons class was cranberries. They were so cute and I was laughing the entire time at all the kids, I wish I had video taped it because words cant explain how cute it was. Maddon loved it too, he likes watching the older kids.

Maddox 1st Deer

This weekend was the youth hunt and since Maddox has been wanting to go for a while now Brandon took him Saturday morning. I just knew he would be so loud and not quite a bit but i was wrong he loved it and was thrilled when he shot his deer. Brandon said he was jumping up and down when it fell to the ground. I'm thrilled hes my little hunter now, Mattison i don't think will care about hunting like i do, but that is fine she can like what she wants. Look at my boy with his Buck he was all excited it had horns and would tell you that it only had 2 horns which i guess in a way he is right one on each side :) who cares about those point things at this age.

He even let his lil bubba come take a picture with his deer

This is def a big moment for Father and Son, Brandon was just as excited for him as much as he would have been if he would have got the trophy buck.

Screams and Giggles!!!

Thursday my baby girl turned 6 years old and so i thought it would be fun to have her a sleepover with some of her new friends from school and church. They did have a blast we had lots of girl things to do like manicures and pedicures, painting, lots of dancing, singing and cheers. I can't believe that she is already 6 and in kindergarten, she will be a senior in the blink of an eye. These girls were a mess and I almost didn't win the battle of going to sleep first but when i thought i was going to pass out i heard no more giggles. They screamed and giggled about everything there was to laugh at so i think that the party went well and glad all the girls had fun and mommy wont have a sleepover for a long time to come :)

My little Carmel and Monkey!!!

So Halloween just passed and with it comes lots of sweets and and little costumes of all kinds. I always hate getting the everyday costume that everyone has but what choices do you have and we always ask them what they want to be so this year maddox wanted to be a baseball player. And if your going to be a baseball player you have to be a Red Bird, but maddox couldnt say cardinal so he kept telling everyone "Im a Carmel." it was really cute how he said it. Maddon isnt old enough to care if he dresses are not but we had him a sock monkey costume since he is our little monkey all he does is climb on everything, and Miss Mattison was not hear on halloween so i dont have any pictures of her costume but she did dress up for the fall festival we had at church and she was a Scrapper Fairy which turned out really cute, im going to have her put it on so i can get a picture later but for now enjoy my little carmel and monkey.

Happy Birthday Lolli

OK so i know that the tittle of this blog is from almost 2 months ago but i have not had a chance to sit down and blog. Lolli's 5oth birthday was September the 17 and since it was the big 50 molly had thought of a birthday party for her. So we all got a surprise party together for her which went really well but we couldn't have it till after her birthday so we had to get her a cake for on her birthday so she didn't think that we completely forgot about her :)

But for the surprise party we had everyone come over to the house and we told her that they were bringing the kids home to us so maybe she wouldn't know what was going on. Everyone got to come and i think she really enjoyed getting to visit with everyone and I hope everyone else enjoyed the day aswell.

Wahl Walkabout Tour

This weekend we went to West Monroe, LA to see Clinton Anderson from the show Downunder Horsemanship on RFD TV. I'm a huge fan of his and Tivo all of his shows that come on, he is amazing with horses and I can only Dream to be as good as he is but I have learned tons from him. The Show was Saturday and Sunday from 9-5 so we left the kids at my dads house in Farmerville on Saturday and Brandon and I got to spend the day together which never happens. No one ever wants to keep Maddon because he cries all the time for mommy, he is def attached to me. I have to say Lisa said that he did not cry a bit and played all day and ate the entire house. I think he just knows how to work people. My dad was down in Texas at deer camp so we didn't get to visit with him which i hate we rarely get to see them as it is. That is the one thing that I hate about living away from family you don't get to visit and I hate that the kids wont get to have a close relationship with their Grandparents on my moms or my dads side. We are 3 hours away and we may see them twice a year. But we did have fun and took the kids with us Sunday for them to get to see the show and get our picture with Clinton Anderson and his horse Diez that is worth more than my house, I was scared my kids were gonna slap the horse for smelling them which is what the do to our horses. Thankfully they did not, I would have stroked out. We didn't stay for the whole show on Sunday because the kiddos got bored so we left but I had a great time and learned tons that I'm gonna put to work on my horses as soon as all this rain stops. Thanks to Grandma Lisa for keeping the kids ALL DAY and giving us an entire day to spend alone we def needed that and don't get that at home. Thanks!!
Clinton working with someones horse, I just love to watch his show he is amazing with horses

This is his bay horse Diez, He is trained way better than any dog or kid i promise

Diez could dance down the arena it was really neat to watch and he would sit down on his butt like a dog. It was to cool.

My School Kids

Well today was the first day of school and as hectic as it was to get everyone up and dressed early, it went great. We had no melt downs this morning which was a blessing and everyone was on time and in Great Moods. This year was exceptionally special for Miss Mattison, this was her first year of Kindergarten and she was super excited to go and meet all of her new friends. I had not much thought into the whole starting kindergarten thing, until Brandon made the comment to a friend of his who didn't want his little girl to go, well if you think about it the next time she gets out of school she will be graduating. That is sad because it will happen before you know it. But as for today I was thrilled they started school because Mommy has had a long long summer with the three amigo's and needed a break. Maddox went back to Pre k at the same place with Mrs. Jessica and Mrs. Sheryl, he loves Mrs. Jessica he had her last year and she spoilt him rotten and would rock him to sleep or rub his back, So he is thrilled to be back with her and I'm sure as soon as he warms up to Mrs. Sheryl he will love her too. As for Maddon i think he was the one who was the happiest that they went back to school. He has slept all day long, all i can think is that it was quite and he was so glad that he could have some much needed rest. I can't believe she is this big

See how happy he was that he was the only child

Destin Vacation

A few weeks ago was our summer vacation at the Beach with almost the whole crew. We didn't think it would ever get here and now it has came and went and time for school and all the fun to start back up. The trip there went awesome the kids slept the entire way until we crossed over into Florida almost and we were so so thankful for that, Reason being is that we had not got off main street in Nashville and Maddox says "Is this going to take a long time" so we were a little worried. We had 6 wonderful days in Florida and hated to leave, its just so peaceful to watch the ocean if the kids are asleep other wise your working almost chasing the three of them. It was too funny with Mattison and Maddox they would get up every morning and eat breakfast on the balcony and we finally figured out what they were doing, they waited until the lifeguard's came and put out the green flag and then ran in and tell us its green its green. The weather was great and it only rained one day while we were there and it was the day we picked for picture day so we didn't get many in that night and went back the next night and got lots. It was a great vacation and enjoyed spending time with Lolli, Pop, Haydon and Bree, but for the most part everyone did there own thing and it was perfect having both vehicles so that you could do what you wanted. Brandon and I took the kids to do kid things and everyone else got to kinda relax and have some silence for a while, which we know was much needed. Kids are rambunctious and loud most of the time so we gave them breaks to re coupe. We had a great Vacation and are ready for School and Awana's to start back up. Hope everyone had a wonderful Summer Vacation and enjoy the pictures. I'm sorry there are alot but I couldn't pick just a few there were so many good ones.
